Let’s just have a moment of silence as we mourn the passing of an OG favourite, Urban Decay’s Naked Palette which has been discontinued. Urban Decay posted the news on their social media accounts last week Friday and held a literal funeral for the palette in a dramatic video with beauty influencers and Nicole Richie as the eulogy-giver.
The announcement had makeup fanatics around the world in major mourning mode with many of them taking their sorrows to Twitter.

RIP @UrbanDecay Naked palette. You taught me the beauty of a bronze smokey eye – which is basically still to this day the only thing I can do. I love you so hard and I'll still use you til I hit pan.

The 12 shadow palette, which launched in 2010, consists of a mix of neutral mattes and shimmers and has remained a go-to for many. The palette was so influential that it inspired the company to release a succession of Naked palettes like the Naked2, Naked3, Naked Basics, Naked Smoky and Naked Heat.
Don’t fret though, you can still get the palette through Foschini for R850!
