Actor, comedian, writer, and game show host, Anthony Anderson is one of America’s most loved onscreen personalities. We loved him in See Spot Run, Romeo Must Die and Kangaroo Jack, when he took on feature roles. However, today he takes the limelight as a front man on the popular ABC TV series, Black-ish. He is funny, motivated and super smart, so there’s no reason to question why he does so well each year. He may not have won this year’s Emmy Award for outstanding actor in a comedy series, but he sure is a winner in our eyes.
“I provide a little comic relief. I’m not a comedian. I’m an actor who just happens to be funny on occasion. Comedy is second nature for me.”
“My wife and I have always trusted each other, and I have to thank her strength. And I realized my family was funny, because nobody ever wanted to leave our house.”
“Be ready for when your time comes, you will have that window of opportunity, so seize the moment and capitalise on it.”
“Independent films are where you really get to cut your teeth and have some fun and do the things that mainstream Hollywood doesn’t want to do.”
